Ordinance 182.1
The majority of buildings and homes in Youngsville that do not
presently have address numbers displayed. In most cases,
the only address numbers that have been used are small and
placed on the mail box. In many cases, there is no address
number at all or the mail box is so displaced from the home
that specific identification of the building is not possible. In
order for each building to be easily identified by emergency
response personnel, home delivery services, and other property
visitors, Ordinance 182.1 has been adopted. This ordinance
requires all buildings within the corporate limits of Youngsville
to display address numbers that are at least four (4) inches
high. These numbers should be positioned such that they
can be readily seen from the street or roadway. Ordinance 94.2
Most of the residents of Youngsville take a great deal of pride
in the appearance of their property and our city. In
rare cases, some individuals must be reminded to cut the grass
on their property. Unfortunately, some of these sites
become significant health hazards. Ordinance 94.2 was
adopted to provide the City Of Youngsville access to those
areas which need attention. This ordinance also updates
the property owner notification procedure needed prior to the
city correcting the hazard. The reimbursements of the
costs incurred by the city to remove the hazard is also included
in this ordinance. |
