Clint Simoneaux, P.E. is a native of Franklin, LA, and a graduate of UL Lafayette. While in college, Clint served as the president of the Civil Engineering Honors Society and completed an internship at E.R. Desormeaux, Inc. Clint graduated with a BS in Civil Engineering. He accepted a job at Southern Lifestyle Development where he worked on a variety of different residential and commercial developments.
Clint became Youngsville’s City Engineer in 2020. In this role, he has been involved in planning new city projects, working with business owners and developers, and collaborating with city officials on creative ways to tackle challenges. He currently serves on the Transportation Policy Committee as a representative of the City of Youngsville.
Clint says that one of his favorite things about living in and working for the City of Youngsville is seeing the tremendous progress take shape. He takes pride in projects that support that progress— road enhancement, drainage, and recreational trails and sidewalks to name a few. His goal as City Engineer is to support Youngsville’s population growth while making sure that the old and new parts of the city continue to grow together.
