From Mayor Ken Ritter: Road Closure Notice – Chemin Agreable
Beginning Monday, May 18, Chemin Agreable between Detente and Guillot will be closed, as road reconstruction gets underway. This project is part of our continued and coordinated infrastructure investment to improve road quality across Youngsville. Please plan ahead and use alternate routes, including Chemin Metairie Pkwy as an alternate east-west corridor. We appreciate everyone’s patience as this important work moves forward.
At the June 2022 Youngsville City Council Meeting, Vijay K. Kunada, P.E., PTOE, PTP of Neel-Schaffer presented a transportation master plan for the city of Youngsville. The purpose of the plan is to:
- Address current and future traffic conditions
- Improve connectivity
- Preserve corridors to accommodate future growth and minimize impacts to traveling public
- Identify strategies for safe movement of traffic
