Cody Louviere has been appointed interim Chief of Police by an unanimous vote of the Youngsville City Council. An election has also been called for November 5, 2024 to fill the unexpired term of former Chief of Police Rickey Boudreaux who resigned effective August 21st.
Chief Louviere is a proud resident of Youngsville and a 12 year veteran of the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office most recently serving as a Patrol Lieutenant/Watch Commander & South District Commander.
