Nicholas Niland grew up in Lafayette where he graduated from St. Thomas More Catholic High School and he went on to earn his Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana, an Associates in Nursing at LSU-Eunice, and he graduated from Western Governors University with his MBA in Healthcare Management.
Nicholas has worked in the healthcare industry for the past 12 years, serving in a variety of roles throughout his healthcare journey. He has been a resident of Youngsville since 2016 and during this time he has been a graduate of Leadership Youngsville Class I, served on the Youngsville Chamber Board of Commerce, and currently serves on the board for the Rotary Club of Youngsville. Nicholas is a member of the Louisiana State Nurses Association, ANA, RCAF, Krewe Allons, and the UL Alumni Association for the University of Louisiana and serves on the board for his HOA. Nicholas previously served on the board for LSNA-District IV.
Nicholas and his wife Taylor Niland have been married for 4 years and they have one son, Jude Niland. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working out, going for a run, and being involved in projects whether it is helping out the community or improving an inefficient process.
Nicholas was honored with the first “Rotarian Impact Award” by the Rotary Club of Youngsville, “Face of Healing” by the Louisiana Nurses Foundation, “Top 20 Under 40” honoree, and “Head of the Class” with Leadership Youngsville Class I.
